I love my blackberry as much as anyone but where it seriously lacks is in the GPS department. When it comes to using HomeSource specifically I can't imagine it running to the best of its ability

Golf Tournament

Thanks to all the Realtors who took the time to talk to us at the EREB Golf Tournament last week, and thanks for eating all the hot dogs! We didn't want to lug all of them out of there! We will be contacting the winner of the draw for the free GPS shortly and we will deliver it personally.

Today HomeSource has the opportunity to attend the Realtors Association of Edmonton General Board meeting and begin to show our product.

We would like to thank the Board for having us there and providing us the opportunity to show our product. We feel that the response was excellent and are looking forward to the official release of HomeSource in July.

Thanks to all the real estate professionals who took the time to come over to our table and see the HomeSource demo. We know that this product can greatly benefit the industry and we will continue to improve it to make it the best it can be!

Being in a small business is interesting. Sometimes there is a lot to do and sometimes things are slow. During those slower times you can find hidden jewels. One of the jewels that we have recently discovered is the profession of Infotainment...yes Infotainment. Don't know what it is, don't worry, I don't think a lot of people do. But if you'd like to learn more watch this short clip about how to make your business card a more effective tool.

As comical as Joel Bauer is, he makes a good point at the start of the video. "Don't let not having the tools be your trepidation." I have found with the compaines that I have worked for and owned that having the proper tools is key. When I worked in construction there was nothing more frustrating than a run to Home Depot cause we couldn't find the right sized screwdriver to finish a job. It cost us time and money and made us look unprofessional. With HomeSource the real estate professional can be organized, on time and show their clients how important their time is. We know that using this product will quite simply help you sell more homes.

Welcome to the HomeSource GPS blog. We are very excited about our product and await the launch which we hope will be before the end of this month!

I personally have dabbled in the real estate game and had some ups and downs. At the time I was buying, flipping and selling in Edmonton, properties were moving at a record pace and for record prices. I had great REALTORS and they helped a great deal in finding me properties that suited what I was trying to do. Often though, we would run out of things to look at or I would end up with a stack of printed off listings to thumb through and then tell my REALTOR what I wanted to look at. After a lot of hours and changes in the market I decided to get out of the flipping game and try something new.

I was fortunate enough to get a good job with guys who had the know how to create a product like HomeSource GPS. Through all of our experiences and know how HomeSource GPS was born and we couldn't be more excited about its potential to greatly assist the real estate industry.

So far, the response to the product has been outstanding. We would like to thank Mike Melnychuk with Century 21 A.L.L. Stars and Sam Hachem with ReMax Accord for being our go to guys in the real estate industry. They knowledge and willingness to help has been invaluable in the process of making HomeSource a reality. I have known both men for a number of years and would highly recommend either of them for all of your real estate needs. Sam will in fact have a new book coming out this month (June 2009) called Real Estate Simplified. I'm excited for its release and I know it will provide essential information for the home buyer and real estate professional alike!
